Lose weight before the wedding
Are you trying to lose weight before the big day, the day you are getting married? If you are about to drop some pounds before you get married, keep the ring size in mind too!
Most people plan their wedding well in advance, and often they have in mind to look as good as possible on the big day, which also often means trying to lose more or less weight.
If you intend to lose a pound or two, it probably doesn’t matter, but if you plan to loose much weight before the wedding, you have to remember that the wedding dress or costume and the wedding ring that you carefully have planned and chosen might be to big when the long awaited day finally arrives.
Ring size can be difficult, if not impossible, to change
Plain gold and silver rings can be resized, but most rings with stones cannot be changed. On titanium rings you can change the size about 1 size if it does not have stones. Black zirconium, ceramic or carbon fiber rings cannot be resized!
If you are unsure: Choose and order, but let the size wait!
How can that problem be solved? If you are about to loose much weight before the wedding, wait as long as possible with buying dress / costume and wedding bands.
You can also choose rings and order them from us, without specifying the size. We know how long it takes to deliver the rings to you so you just need to tell us which date you are getting married and when you need your ring. We can then plan the date we need to know the size for your unique wedding ring and ensure that it will be ready and delivered in time.
If pregnant, go for a provisional ring!
If you are pregnant when you are getting married, it is absolutely best to decide on a provisional ring. Your fingers, like the rest of your body, are probably swollen and the ring will be much too big when the baby is born and everything returns to normal. A nice simple silver ring is a good choice while waiting for the baby, then you can buy the more expensive ring which will fit perfectly when your body has recovered after your pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.
How far in advance of the wedding do you plan to buy rings?
